Blansko Aquapark
Blansko Aquapark has become a popular summer destination both for the population of Blansko and for visitors from all over the region.
The Aquapark swimming pool has four twenty-five-metre swimming lanes, three diving boards (1 and 3 metres), a wild river with a rocking pool in the middle, a 55-metre-long toboggan, a slide 2.5 metres wide and 14.5 metres long, a bubble massage bench, four water jets in the wall of the pool, three water spouts, a water mushroom and two water bursts on the bottom of the pool. The Aquapark also offers a children’s pool comprised of two interconnected pools four and six meters in diameter with a water mushroom.
There is a wide sandy beach to the rear of the site with a stylish children’s play area for children aged 3 to 12 (climbing frames, swings) and two beach volleyball courts. The site also features a new four-lane pétanque court with complete accessories.
Cloakrooms, showers and WCs for visitors go without saying. There are also rooms for lifeguards and a place where deckchairs and sunshades can be hired. The administration building comes with a summer restaurant and a bar with seating inside and outside. There is new sandblasted concrete paving around the swimming pool. Other areas feature a grassy carpet with automatic irrigation. An indoor 25-metre swimming pool in the municipal baths building can also be used in the summer months along with admission to the Aquapark. The town library operates a book and magazine loans service in the Aquapark in the summer.

Sloup outdoor swimming pool – Sloup bathing pool
The renovated swimming pool in Sloup is open every day from 9.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. The site features both a new fifty-metre pool for adults and a small paddling pool where children can let off steam to their heart’s content. There is an inflatable slide – iceberg and a water trampoline in the large pool. An outdoor shower with drinking water is an indisputable advantage. An excellent beach volleyball court and a children’s sandpit have been prepared for visitors who aren’t that keen on swimming or fun in the water.
The swimming pool also has a small cosy restaurant where you can take some refreshments and try some of the specialities from the barbeque that offers tantalising aromas to those sitting outside.

Spešov outdoor swimming pool
The popular swimming pool in Spešov has a large pool for swimming with a diving platform. Small children are sure to appreciate the shallow pool, paddling pool and children’s play area with swings and a slide. For those into sport, the venue also offers a volleyball and futnet court, and you can also hire sports equipment here (pétanque, dice, playing cards, sunshades, volleyballs and footballs). There is also a small wooden cabin for rent.
Refreshments are provided by a small pub with a garden. The swimming pool is open from 10.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. every day. The beer garden is open until 11.00 p.m.

Adamov outdoor swimming pool
The Pod Horkou swimming pool in Adamov offers both old-fashioned fun and games in the water in the summer and the opportunity of swimming training from 7.30 to 9.00 p.m. every day. Refreshments, a children’s paddling pool, a children’s play area, a futnet and volleyball court, a concrete table tennis table and a children’s slide with a tower are also available to visitors in the summer season. The swimming pool is open from 9.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m. every day.

Křtiny outdoor swimming pool
The swimming pool in Křtiny is connected with a campsite and is open in the summer season from 9.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. every day from the beginning of July. You can have a swim in a large pool 130–230 cm deep, while there are also a smaller pool (80 cm) and a paddling pool (40 cm) for children.
There is also a refreshments stand on the site, as well as changing rooms and showers for a fee.

Lažany outdoor swimming pool
The fire reservoir here is used as a swimming pool in the summer. There are WCs, a refreshments stand, climbing frames, a tennis court, a beach volleyball court and pétanque available here to visitors. You can also hire sports equipment on the site. Admission to the swimming pool, which is open from 8 to 10, is free.

You can also find swimming pools and a wide range of accompanying services at many accommodation facilities in the Blansko area. Wellness Hotel Panorama offers the services of a wellness centre and an indoor and outdoor pool. The new Hotel Sladovna in Černá Hora also has a wellness centre and a beer bath. Indoor pools can also be used by guests at Pension U Tří Volů in Býkovice and Hotel Terasa in Jedovnice.

The Palava recreation area in Blansko
The complex at the Palava recreation area, which lies in unusually beautiful settings, features an artificial reservoir with slides, a diving platform and a jetty where you can swim at your own risk. Children are sure to appreciate the features designed especially with them in mind – a children’s paddling pool with a water spout, a children’s play area full of tempting attractions for small children and a sandy beach with children’s playground equipment.
The reservoir is surrounded by a large tended grassy area for rest and relaxation.
There is a restaurant on the site open all year round and three refreshment stands.

The Olšovec fishpond in Jedovnice
This recreational fishpond, covering an area of 42 hectares, is the ideal place for lovers of water sports and sports angling. Boats and pedalos can be hired here, and international motor boat races are held here on a regular basis. The clearance of the fishpond when the fish are caught, held in October every year, is also extremely interesting.
