Rudice

Its dominant landmark is its windmill, whose interior is now home to a museum of mineralogy, speleology and mining and a permanent exhibition of traditional living. The educational trail The Rudice Mines passes through Rudice and will take you to the Seč Quarry, a fascinating limestone site coloured in hundreds of shades of yellow, beige, orange and red.

The new Chapel of Saint Barbara, consecrated to the patron saint of miners, can also be found here.

The entire village is built above the cave labyrinth known as the Rudice Sink – a unique natural karst locality where the waters of Jedovnice Stream fall into the earth to take a winding journey underground as far as Býčí Skála.
